The Doctoral School of Engineering Sciences (ED SPI) brings together a potential 80 research professors and 4 host laboratories, including 3 CNRS Joint Research Units (UMR). Over 220 students are currently studying in PhD programs, and more than 45 dissertations are awarded each year.
A vast disciplinary field
The scientific policy of the ED SPI is based on the policies developed in the laboratories associated with it. The laboratories cover a vast disciplinary field in the following 3 scientific directions:
- Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies (vision methods and systems for robotics, components and systems of microelectronics and optoelectronics and electro-magnetic modeling, computer science)
- Food Process Engineering (chemical and biological engineering)
- Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering (modeling of uncertainty, design methodologies for machines, structures and structures, relationship between modeling and experimentation)
